Given the quality, their recommendation would have been to transfer only one, which of course was our plan all along anyway. I've heard stories of babies whom you can lay down while they are awake, but sleepy, and they won't scream bloody murder, but rather, go softly to sleep.  I've heard this is the best way to put a baby to sleep because then he learns to put himself to sleep, to self soothe.  I've heard babies as young as 6 weeks can do this...

We are enjoying and making the most of this unexpected free time though.  We had a weekend of relaxing by the pool and hanging out with friends.  Every day, J asks me if today is the day...and I laugh.

lots of toilet paper checking, looking for any signs of spotting, mucous, etc...
lots of assessing for cramping of any sort
lots of hoping the fetus is still doing well
lots of assessing the rest of the body for any other symptoms that might tell you something

And it's just one, so J can finally relax and just be happy. :)

We saw the heartbeat today--120-130 beats/minute, so that's within the normal range, and it was measuring at 6 weeks, so that's perfect.
